Details for Friday in Massachuttes
September 28th 09:05:41 PM

We hope lots of you guys will show up to help us in Cambridge, MA Student Rally 1 p.m. Friday, September 30 Yankee fans and Sox nation agree on one thing!!! Students for Saving Social Security, a non-partisan, grassroots organization on over 230 college campuses in all 50 states, will rally in Harvard Square, Cambridge, MA to illustrate our intense focus on an issue crucial to our generation. Americans under 30 currently pay one out of every eight dollars we earn into a structurally flawed system. The theme of the event is Yankee fans and Red Sox nation setting aside their differences to support this essential reform. We ask if Yankee fans and Red Sox fans can set aside their differences, why can’t Democrats and Republicans do the same thing? Who: Students for Saving Social Security (www.SecureOurFuture.org) What: Rally where Yankee fans and Red Sox nation set aside their differences to advocate their unqualified support for Social Security Reform. When: 1:00 pm on Friday, September 30, 2005 Where: Harvard Square, Cambridge, MA (We’ll be set up nearby) Here are a few extra details for S4 people: 1) Try to call me with RSVP and # of people expected; (917) 414-1926 2) S4 people should anticipate arriving btwn 11 and 12. 3) Bring extra clothing with Yanx and Sox logo's. 4) If they bring more than 15 people, DC office has approved miniIpod for top 2 chapter heads. Sorry about the tix. 5) We couldn't get any celebs on short notice. If lots of people make this one successful, it should dramatically help us for next time. 6) After the media event, we'll go around talking to people and getting video footage to use at a later date.
