Let me also thank the members of Congress who are here this evening, and all of the distinguished guests, longtime friends that I see here at the head table. I also want to thank the young people from the group Students for Saving Social Security -- a new organization that already has members nationwide. These young citizens remind all of us that their generation deserves a Social Security system that is on firm financial ground -- and those of us in government have a responsibility to get the job done right.
