Did you know that members of certain religions don't have to participate in Social Security? It's true. Just look at IRS form 4029.

For starters, this means that Muslims and certain Evangelical Protestant sects are exempt.

I created a spreadsheet the other day to see what an investment alternative to socialist security would yield. The results are shockingly wonderful. Ex: a person age 23, making $20k, investing 10% of income including as income grows (at 1.5% annually), getting a return of 10%/year (the rate of the S&P 500 for last 20 years), that person will be a MILLIONAIRE by age 61, and have over $1.8 million by age 67 (legal retirement).
I am completely shocked at how easy it is to become a millionaire, if you invest over time.
